It has a search effect, but it has a habit of requiring a hand and having a narrow search range. The advantage is that there are no disadvantages and you can bring cards that cannot be searched with some flying dragons.
2 is an effect that ancient machines often have, but it's a bonus effect due to its subtle stats and endangered attack reactions.
The deployment effect of 3 is painful for the ancient machine because the condition is passive, and since it does not correspond to battle and as mentioned above, its own status is subtle, so it is easy to avoid activation. It cannot be said that it can be relied upon as a means of deployment.
The effect is not good, but as already said, the ancient machine that can search the box is huge.
Up until now, the only ancient machines that could be searched in boxes were knights, gears, and other subtle things, so it's easy to prioritize yourself, which has a search effect, even if it's narrow.

It tends to be compared to a wyvern, but its greatest strength is that this card can be searched by machine boxes. Also, it doesn't matter how many search cards you have.
Especially if you want to take advantage of "competition", at the required level
The third effect may not be used very often, but from the opponent's point of view, it can be a troublesome check.

I think it's great that you can search for 《Ancient Gear Fusion》in addition to 《Cross-Dimensional Duel》due to the effect of (1).
I think it would be nice to revive the cost card with "Gear Town" Ancient Gear Fortress .
I think the ability to search from 《Ancient Gear Wyvern》via 《Ancient Gear Box》is also a strength.

You can search for either Fusion, Co-op, or Titan at the cost of one hand card, and there is a Wyvern that has a similar role and does not require a hand cost, but the point that you can search for Co-op, and the hand cost is rotten. Searching is easy because you can search from the box. The ancient machine had a strict summoning right, but this one has the advantage of being able to fuse without difficulty because it can also be fused. If it is a box and a set, fusion materials can also be collected, and it meshes well with ancient machines that consume a lot of materials. If you already have the materials in your hand, it's a good idea to search for competition to keep it in check or solidify it. Since you can't search with a flying dragon in competition, I think it's an excellent lower class comparable to a flying dragon.
③ is also convenient, and you can restrain the opponent's movement. There is no doubt that there are a lot of Titans in his deck at the time he puts in the base body, so even if it is before the search, destroying it carelessly can be a big deal.

Ancient Mechanism is the best candidate to search for boxes.
Even though it requires a hand cost, it's nice to be able to search for 《Ancient Gear Fusion》and Compete.
